StoreGrid's Service Provider Edition comes in two separate builds - a "Server build" that should be installed on the machine(s) that are to be configured as Backup Server or Replication server, and a "Client build" that should be installed on clients, i.e., machines that backup their files to the backup server.

The latest 3.0 version of StoreGrid makes it lot easier for Master Service Providers and Service Providers to manage and scale up their backup service. What's new in v3.0?

Setting up StoreGrid

StoreGrid SP Edition Server Builds - v3.0

These Server builds are to be used for the Backup Server or Replication Server installation(s) only.

You need to first install a MySQL instance to 'connect to' at the StoreGrid Server's backend. The MySQL instance could be running on the same machine as the Backup/Replication server or on a different machine. For more details on installing and configuring MySQL for your StoreGrid Server, please take a look at one of the following guides:

The trial versions available for download already include a 'Trial Customer' and the ability to add 'Trial Clients'. If you wish to stress test StoreGrid SP by adding more customers and clients, you will need temporary license keys for this.
